Two Monmouth County cops face expenses in a horse-drug trafficking scandal.
Suspended Deal Police Officer Joseph Ammaturo is dealing with extra expenses associated to his December 2018 arrest. The new expenses pertain to the possession and distribution of Clenbuterol, a drug usually used for horses.
The allegations are additionally linked to pending expenses in opposition to suspended Ocean Township Police Officer Ryan Vaccaro, introduced Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher J. Gramiccioni.
Ammaturo, 37, of Long Branch and a 14-year veteran of the Deal Police Department, is now dealing with extra expenses of fourth-degree possession of a prescription drug, amongst different expenses, in line with the MCPO.
