20st Fife mum sheds half her body weight in 15 months after giving up biscuits and bacon butties for breakfast


A Fife mum misplaced almost half her body weight in simply 15 months in a bid to regain her life after yr of struggling with rheumatoid arthritis.

Laura Anne Black, 40, shed a whopping 9st 4lbs after tipping the scales at almost 20st in 2018.

Feasting on packs of biscuits and bacon rolls for breakfast turned a every day incidence for Laura in a bid to deal with her social nervousness, despair and the consequences of her debilitating illness.

What Laura Anne ate earlier than

Breakfast: Half a packet of biscuits with my cup of tea, a bacon roll or two slices of toast with peanut butter

She continued: “I stored a constructive mindset and believed in myself that I may change.

“I was 100% focused from the word go and knew I had to cut out all my bad habits in order to succeed.”

The mum-of-two admits there have been no fast fixes, simply “drastic” weight-reduction plan adjustments and “a lot of walking, going to the gym, going horse riding” to attain her targets.

As she says outdated pals now fail to recognise her.

Her nutritious diet has introduced her from a shy measurement 24 to a thriving measurement 10.  Laura Anne now weighs a wholesome 10st 4lb.

She ditched the processed meals and comfort snacks for nourishing home made meals filled with lean meat, veggies, salads and snacks on yogurt, fruit and a couple of treats from time to time.

From a social recluse to native inspiration, Laura Anne now helps others by posting her journey on social media.

What Laura Anne eats now

Breakfast: fruit with yoghurt, egg omelette with tomatoes or cereal.

Lunch: rooster salad, home made soup, home made vegie rice, pasta.

Dinner: home made chilli, sausage and bean casserole, shepherd’s pie and a great deal of veg, rooster and veg curry with boiled rice, M&S 5% burgers with slimming world chips and roasted veg.

Snacks: fruit and loads of water

 

 

 

Her Instagram @slimmer_laura has already reached 1,944 followers and she hopes her story will encourage others to “believe in themselves” and deal with their weight loss with a “can do” perspective.

Reflecting on her journey and how her slimming success has affected her, she stated: “I really feel like a brand new girl, filled with vitality, having enjoyable and loving life.

“I’ve actually by no means felt this good since I

was an adolescent.

“The affect of loosing weight is actually thoughts blowing and feels superb.

“I’ve my life again, myself again and my life couldn’t be higher. I now not really feel nugatory.

“I now feel ready to conquer the world and make it big in the big world we live in.”

 She now hopes to inspire others to tackle life with a positive outlook

Laura now feels snug taking Kaitlynn, 15, and Keely, 11, on common horse driving journeys. She now not worries about being “too big” for the horse to hold her.

“There’s no stopping me now I feel like I was a caterpillar stuck in a chrysalis for years and I’ve now emerged as a beautiful butterfly ready to travel to world and be free.”
