Chocolate Banana Oatmeal – Dr. Ann Wellness

Chocolate Banana Oatmeal

Serves 1

This recipe is decadently scrumptious and nice for you. It is my breakfast of alternative on a cold winter morning. Kids will find it irresistible too.

Ingredients

  • A single serving of fast cooking metal minimize oats. (now obtainable in a number of manufacturers from the usual grocer)

  • ½ giant ripe banana or 1 small banana

  • 2 tsp easy peanut butter or almond butter

  • four oz. of Greek plain non-fats yogurt

  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder

  • Dash or two of cinnamon (optionally available)

Directions

Prepare the oatmeal based on package deal directions. (I exploit the microwave.) Add the banana and use the again of a fork to mash it up after which stir it into the oatmeal. Add the remaining elements and stir till effectively blended. You can pop it again into the microwave if you need it hotter. Feel free so as to add every other fruit or to prime it with some nuts, wheat germ, hemp kernels or floor flax.
