Like their bean cousins, lentils are low cost, versatile, filling, and energy-packed filled with fiber, B-nutritional vitamins, protein, minerals, and antioxidant polyphenols. They present extra folate than every other meals and have an edge over different legumes as a result of they cook dinner rapidly, require no pre-soaking, and have a tendency to trigger much less gasoline.
