Weight loss: Lighterlife diet plan promises ‘fast and effective weight loss’

Lighterlife is launching a national slimming club across the UK, and those behind the plan claim dieters could lose a stone in a month. The free club is open to everyone and focuses on: “A new approach to a healthy mind and body.” The diet plan focuses on long-term success and changing the dieters relationship with food. Bar Hewlett, co-founder of LighterLife, said: “Clients have spent years telling us that the difference with LighterLife is that we understand that weight problems are not solely about what goes into our mouths. Food is what we use to deal with emotions and problems. 

“Xpress is about long-term weight loss success – it isn’t just about losing a few pounds to get into a bikini.

Those behind the new meetings say the LighterLife Xpress Slimming Clubs “combine LighterLife’s expert eating plans with weekly meetings, resulting in fast and effective weight loss.”

Members can also purchase LighterLife’s total diet replacement Foodpacks, which provide 28 key vitamins and minerals, are high in fibre and protein and come in a range of tasty meal options including soups, shakes, bars and meals.

Lighterlife works by feeding dieters with a BMI of over 30 four meal-replacement food packs a day, such as shakes, soups mousses or bars.

If you have a BMI of 25 to 50 then you will eat three food packs and one meal from an approved list.

According to the NHS: “Having a break from real food may kick start your weight loss, and the initial rapid weight loss can be motivating.”

The keto diet plan is another hugely popular diet.

How does it work? The low-carb diet high fat diet changes the metabolic state of the body.
